Talking hehe... Para frontliners in GvG

Saw while obs'ing it made me lol. Seemed quite effective, yet I've never seen it done before.

Attr's... at least what I think they are:
P/W
Leadership 10+1+1
Command 8+1
Sword 12
[skill]lead the way[/skill][skill]soldier's fury[/skill][skill]spear swipe[/skill][skill]barbarous slice[/skill][skill]gash[/skill][skill]sun and moon slash[/skill][skill]go for the eyes[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]
Silencing spear for full 12 seconds of Daze, usual sword sets.

With a primary that's actually useful, basically full-time unremovable +33%IAS and +25%IMS without downsides, I have no real trouble envisioning Para's as occasional Warrior replacements (though they're obviously worthless in splits).

But it's nice to see something different.

two words, observer mode.

actually that doesn't look too bad. i'm not sure how exactly it'd outclass a warrior, but doesn't look bad anywho.

These Para's have the +33%IAS and +25%IMS active at the same time - no GvG War I've seen can do that. Combined with Daze, they managed to put significant pressure on opposing casters, even without KDs. Without stances Barbarous suddenly becomes pretty secksy.

Ehhh lemme see if I can remember the team build, to provide a lil' context

- P/W sword guy x2
- P/Me cry stunning spear (aoweariness)
- P/W moti cruel spear (aoflame)
- Mo/W prot shield bash
- Rt/A flag runner
- Mo/A ZB return
- R/Mo cripshot

..or something (I'm not far off).

I'd say this would split terrible though, but thing with para"way" is that it wins a lordrace or whatever you want to call it.

A backliner of soldiers' fury with ToF can be maintained easily since the buff of the speed is not essential for them. Throw in FGJ with blazing spears, then firing can be maintained as well as the IAS. How's this idea =]

Spear Swipe is a spear attack...so did they just switch to a spear for daze, then switch back to sword?

Tried this in AB a while back, and it was quite fun.

Wasn't that [Baby]? I seem to remember them getting stomped

Nonetheless, it does look fun. Might give it a go at some point!

edit: just realised that [Baby] had already been mentioned, I only saw the one where StS stomped them
